Can you look network 3 computers via a wirless connection?

Basicly, im looking at networking my computers via wirless, is there a way to do this.



I have 1 main computer that id like the other two laptops to be able to send files and download files from. And for me to be able to type in cmd prompt ''net send thiername hi'' And it to work!



One of my laptops is vista the other xp, my main pc is vista two. Links to websites that help could get you best answere!!!

Yes, you have to set up the wireless for computer-to-computer (ad-hoc).

Remember all computers need to be on the same subnet, with IP address preferably close together.



I.E. 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.4 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0

yes all you hav to do is take the ethernet cable have the one ethernet conneto plugged in your cable modem and take the other and plug it in you wireless router/modem and take another ethernet cable and plug it in the back of the wireless modem and plug it in your pc and configure the network if at all and there you go wireless is at your service.
You can connect all the devices to share files and printers, etc. However, the ''net send'' command is a feature unique to Novell networks. The Microsoft network does not support this. However, the Microsoft network WILL support using Windows Messenger, or any other IM program, across your LAN, but I'll be danged if I know how to set that up.
