Assumming you have a home netowork (wired LAN or wireless)
If not, go get a wireless router, and connect your PCs to the router.
Once you have setup a network, you can share your printer easily by the steps below.
Goto Controlpanel-%26gt;Network connections
Right click the Ethernet Connection that is active, and select properties.
When the window pops up, click the General tab.
There would be a list box detailing
1. Client for Microsoft networks
2. Internet Protocol
3. File and Printer sharing for Microsoft Networks %26lt;This is needed.
If %26lt;3%26gt; is not there, you need to click "install", and search for File and Printer sharing.
Once installed, you are now able to share your printer to the computers on your network easily.
All they have to do is to connect to your computer.
At start-%26gt;Click Run and then, type
"\\%26lt;Computer name%26gt;
Press enter.
The shared printer will be showed like a shared device. You can right click the icon of the printer and to connect.
First buy one CAT5 cross linked cable and connect two computers.
Once you connect these two pcs you can share all files , folders and printers .
Good luck for you ...
