I want to get the new Microsoft flight Simulator X. I know that certain computers don't perform well with the game. Here are the system requirements:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X comes on 2 DVDs and requires approximately 14 GB of hard drive space to install. Although official minimum system requirements call for a 1.0 GHz CPU, 256 MB RAM and a 32 MB DirectX 9 compatible video card, much more powerful hardware is needed to achieve good performance. As of 2007, one needs a top-of-the-line CPU, 2 GB of fast RAM and a $200+ video card to get above 10 fps on the ground at reasonable quality settings. Poor performance on older computers has been the primary source of criticism for Flight Simulator X.
Here is the computer I have: Sony Vaio FS920
Intel Pentium M 740 1.73 GHz 512 MB RAM 80 GB HDD...Will this work without compromising performance? If you need to know anything else let me know and I'll add it in additional details.
Can someone who knows a lot about computers help me out with this...?norton antivirus 2007
too bad you have a laptop. theres really not much you can do but upgrade the ram. YOU CANNOT upgrade the graphics card because it is integrated on the motherboard and to try to upgrade the graphics would mean either getting a new laptop or destroying the motherboard. to really run games, i suggest you get a desktop. here are some tips:
