What is the esiest way to connect two computers to play games on LAN?

Is it possible to do it without LAN router/switch/hub and LAN network card?

If both computers have network cards installed (95% do these days) then all you need is a Crossover LAN cable....this is different than a normal LAN cable that you would connect to a hub because it goes both ways.

You can also do it with wireless connection, but this is slower and less reliable. P2P (peer 2 peer)

Find a good crossover ethernet cable.

No router needed.
I think its parallel cable.
