how can i completely delete my computers file (only the files not needed for the computer to run) like all the files i downloaded and leaves the system32 and the essencials

or anyone know any good safe program that can do this for me

Unfortunately the only sure way is to remove the hard drive and destroy it.

There are programs that will do a good job of scrambling the drive to such an extent that it is virtually impossible to retrieve the data, but that process requires the drive to be susequently re-partioned and formatted then the system re-installed. (in other words it garbages everything)

There is no way to remove only the bits you want, without losing the rest. Don't let anyone kid you any different.

Even re-formatting is useless, it does not wipe the drive, it only rewrites the index (FAT) (how do you think forensics get info back ?)

It depends how vital it is to hide your past, what method to use.

Use your Restore CD.
I use something called CCleaner and it works well. An IT friend told me about it. Ran it on mine the other day and gave me 3gb of disk space back.

In my opinion, you can't beat a steam roller and a sledge hammer. Go to your local civil engineers, they may be able to help you.
